Video Production Breakdown.

This breakdown is based on an 1 minute promotional video.
This may vary depending of what’s required for your specific video.

  • General video concept planing.

  • Script assessing and editing.

  • Shot list making.

Pre-Production. 2 Hours (average)

Post-Production. 12 Hours (average)

This average is considering usually not all items in this list are required in most videos.
Usually we use a talking head or a VoiceOver.
Only some times we use stock footage.

  • Go through and watch all footage shot on the shoot day while selecting the best shots to be used in the final edit.
    This includes the main talking head shots and the B-roll shots.
    1.5 hrs

  • Search, select and download one or more suitable licensed music tracks from the music library provider.
    Up to 1 hr

  • If there is a VoiceOver then search and select a suitable VoiceOver artist then send them the script and place the order.
    1/2 hour

  • If there is stock footage needed then search, select and download the licensed footage from the stock footage provider.
    1 hrs

  • Create a logo animation including search, select and download licensed music track for the logo animation.
    3 hrs

  • Main edit:
    7 Hours

  1. Place logo animation on timeline.

  2. Place cut and edit music track to suit the video length and style.

  3. If there is a talking head shot, place that in the time line.

  4. If there are multiple cameras, then place those shots and synchronise all cameras.

  5. Then do an audio noice reduction and levels adjustment.

  6. If there is a VoiceOver then place it in the timeline and edit the timing.

  7. Select and place all other shots in the timeline as needed.

  8. If there is stock footage needed then place them in the timeline accordingly.

  9. Colour grade all shots.

  10. Apply video effects as needed.

  11. Do a final fine tuning of any shots or styling as needed.
